I can say I'm more or less settled down and stuff. I've made pretty much friends and they're nice. Though their age ranges from 17 to 29, to me it doesn't really matter as long as we can get along well though. :D Went poly marina for lessons today. Did rope knots and lashes. It's pretty fun and time flies faster too. We also took sp@Dover boat out to Singapore waters. It's fun and there'll be more opportunities for us I guess! Makes me wanna go sailing very soon. Clementi mall is pretty big. Went window shopping with Jason. Had some mens talk though. He's a nice guy man la. Never fails to make me laugh though! Hahah! :D Cca showcase tomorrow! It's good to look around what the school has. I've some in mind but shan't jump to conclusions. Grats! Next year no cca for me lei! But gotta come back in year 3 to continue. So troublesome. Guess we're the only people gotta do that. Cos unique course ma. Ahyo! I want placement on cruise ship man. I shall pray everyday! :D Ps: The journey is long, no doubt there'll be obstacles. We'll face it together with a positive mindset and never give up! Poly started and everything is not as easy as I thought. I've to learn maths and science again. I'm talking about pure science. Awwwman! I'm feeling so screwed man! :X Talking about classmates, I've a nice bunch of them. Except for one or two kp! No offense la but I don't like. I've a 23 years old classmate. My course have the widest range of cut off points, nationality and age. I'm kinda shock honestly. But I guess we're all in the same boat. I've received 2 projects in 2 months. That's poly life! Ahhh! I'm going crazy! I don't know if I could commit between cca and studies. Sailing next year alr. This sucks la! :////// Ps: What if!? Went back for SPICE training today. Pretty early morning for me man! Met dear at 745 to Dover. Straight train so don't have to transfer at jurong east and wait for train again. I'm gonna do this so it'll save lots of time. I'm looking forward for school to start while pretty scared at the same time. But i guess, this is part and parcel of life. I can't stop time and rewind though. :D Flag day tomorrow! It's been so long since i last done flag day. I remember the last time was 6 years old. 12 years ago, almost a decade. Hope people will be generous enough to donate for charity. 8 to about 230 at buona vista simply long. Holland V is nearby, hopefully there's crowd there. Hope it doesnt rains tomorrow uh. I'm a bit reluctant honestly. I'm crowd shy. Posted by Shawn Ng @ 23:22 Monday, April 11, 2011 Orientation. :D Yeah, today is orientation. Morning was a disaster though. Waited for the train for about 20 minutes. Was almost late for the freshmen lecture though. People kept rushing into the train. Looks like i must have my alternative way to poly already. :D Orientation today was mainly talks and tour round the campus. It's kinda cool they've simulator. Pretty important for us. There's also sp marina too. Where there's practical too. Jetty jump which was otherwise known as confidence jump. After today, I'm pretty looking forward for school to start. Looks like I'm kinda addicted to singing already! Its good because I can relieve stress. School is starting. Can't believe it because I haven't got the time to enjoy enough. But it's good because if I keep going out I'll spend money. I can't wait to make myself busy though. Was looking thru the students portal. Kind of interested to join bowling. I think it's gonna be fun. But I've to buy my own ball. Mum gonna kill me! Shall spend more time thinking because like that I've lesser time to spend with dear! Timetable out and our time clashes. Last few weeks was work. Kinda miss church and god. Today's sermon was 'the attitude of gratitude'. We've to thank god for what we have the food and things. It was an interesting sermon. Yeah. Looking forward for next week. :D Went to visit grandma at general hospital glad she's doing well. Sat for around 30minutes or so before going home. :D Yup. Thats how i spend my day. Going down to john little expo sale tomorrow. Have to buy my black shoes. Mine cannot make it already. It was kinda successful. But her balloons flew away. So funny. :D Me and dear made a wish, on carpark lot 12. I'm very creative right? Yeah. So we each made a wish and released a balloon each. :D Hope our wish come true. Went Singapore Expo to buy Norton. Not bad. Went home with a free printer. Thanks dear for accompanying me there. I think I'm all grown up already. So yeah. I kinda miss those times in school where we had April Fools Day fooling teachers. Those were the days in secondary school. Hope time could rewind back time and stuff. But everyone is moving on and i should too! :D Went dear's house to help her with her laptop. But she's kinda unlucky. Cannot start up windows. So gotta send down to the service centre. Hopefully it's done by lastest Tuesday. Have to reconfigure the whole laptop. Yup. Went vivo after that. Watched hop. Quite a nice show though. Had the late lunch. 4pm so my dinner was pretty messed up. 9pm. Usually my suppertime though. I was giddy during the bus ride. Empty stomach. We went ECP too. Sat at break waters and talked.
